- Hairline Incisions – As the name indicates, this incision is made along your hairline. This procedure will be done using a minimally invasive version involving an endoscope. The incision will be small and remain hidden within your hairline after healing.
- Coronal Incision – This form of incision starts at one ear, passes along the hairline across the brow, and ends at the opposite ear. As with the hairline incision, this will be hidden by the hairline once healed.
No matter the type of brow lift used to meet your aesthetic goals, you expect to be comfortable with intravenous sedation or general anesthesia as Dr. Wu works her magic and removes excess skin and expertly tightens musculature and tissue.
Once the procedure is done, Dr. Wu will close up the treatment area using sutures, special clips, or skin adhesives. These may dissolve on their own eventually, or you may need to have them taken out in a later visit. After that, you’ll be given detailed instructions on how to care for the area while it heals. Swelling and redness around the incision are normal, but you should notice an improvement in your brow right away.
